Art Creative Practice Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) - Units 1 and 2*

Our Art Creative Practice Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET)  are written by experienced VCE teachers, who are also VCE Exam Assessors. These tasks are available exclusively to schools and are available in electronic or hardcopy format. A variety of tasks are available for both Unit 1 and Unit 2.

Students are not permitted to order these tasks.

The Art Creative Practice Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) are offered to schools copyright free for the restricted use of students of that school only.

TSSM's Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) are designed to target the key areas of the Study Design for Art Creative Practice. These tasks are a valuable resource with which to assess the coursework components of Units 1 and 2 Art Creative Practice. All tasks are supplied with full solutions.

Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) for Art Creative Practice have been prepared for both Units 1 and 2. The following packages are available to schools:
 

Unit 1 Package includes 4 tasks -

Outcome 1 for Area of Study 1 (Two options included):

1. An extended written response
2. Short-answer responses supported by visual references

Outcome 2 for Area of Study 2 (One option included):

1. A range of personal visual responses to a selection of set tasks, showing the exploration of ideas, materials and techniques in at least three art forms.
    

Outcome 3 for Area of Study 3 (One option included):

1. Document the use of the Creative Practice, including annotated personal visual responses to a selection of set tasks.
   
    

Unit 2 Package includes 6 tasks -

Outcome 1 for Area of Study 1 (Two options included):

1. An extended written response
2. Short-answer responses

Outcome 2 for Area of Study 2 (Two options included):

1. Visual responses that demonstrate the use of the Creative Practice, collaboration and the exploration of personal ideas related to social and cultural contexts.
2. Presentation of at least one finished artwork 
    

Outcome 3 for Area of Study 3 (Two options included):

1. Documentation and evaluation of the collaborative Creative Practice. 
2. A critique of the development of personal ideas, directions, explorations, visual language, technical skills, processes and artworks. 

These tasks provide teachers with a degree of flexibility when setting assessment tasks for their students. While TSSM thoroughly checks the accuracy and relevance of these Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET), prior to assessing students, it is the individual school's responsibility to ensure that these are an appropriate form of assessment.

*Unit 1 Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) will be released on February 6, 2025 and Unit 2 will be released on May 29, 2025. Orders made in advance are welcome.
