Business Management Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) - Units 1 and 2*

Our Business Management Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) are written by experienced VCE teachers, who are also VCE Exam Assessors. These tasks are available exclusively to schools and are available in electronic or hardcopy format. A variety of tasks are available for both Unit 1 and Unit 2.

Students are not permitted to order these tasks.

The Business Management Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) are offered to schools copyright free for the restricted use of students of that school only.

TSSM's Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) are designed to target the key assessment components of the Business Management Study Design. These tasks provide a valuable resource with which schools can assess the coursework requirements of Units 1 and 2 Business Management. All tasks are supplied with response guides.

Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) for Business Management have been prepared for both Units 1 and 2. The following packages are available to schools:

Unit 1 Package includes 7 tasks -

Outcome 1 for Area of Study 1 (Two options included):

1. Case Study - Sources of a business opportunity
2. Test on the Contributions of business to the economic and social wellbeing of a nation

Outcome 2 for Area of Study 2 (Three options included):

1. Structured Questions on the internal  environment
2. Development of a business plan
3. Test on the Internal Environment

Outcome 3 for Area of Study 3 (Two options included):

1. Report on the external environment and its impact on business planning
2. Structured Questions on the external  environment

Unit 2 Package includes 5 tasks -

Outcome 1 for Area of Study 1 (One option included):

1. Test on legal requirements 
    

Outcome 2 for Area of Study 2 (Two options included):

1. Case Study on marketing
2. Test on public relations
    

Outcome 3 for Area of Study 3 (Two options included):

1. Case Study on staffing a business
2. Test on staffing a business

These tasks provide teachers with a degree of flexiblity when setting assessment tasks for their students. While TSSM thoroughly checks the accuracy and relevance of these Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET), prior to assessing students, it is the individual school's responsibility to ensure that these are an appropriate form of assessment.
 

*Unit 1 Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) will be released on February 6, 2025 and Unit 2 will be released on May 29, 2025. Orders made in advance are welcome.
