Foundation Mathematics Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) - Units 3 and 4*

Our Foundation Mathematics Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) are written by experienced VCE teachers, who are also VCE Exam Assessors. These tasks are available exclusively to schools and are available in electronic or hardcopy format. A variety of tasks are available for both Unit 3 and Unit 4.

Students are not permitted to order these tasks.

The Foundation Mathematics Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) are offered to schools copyright free for the restricted use of students of that school only.

TSSM's Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) are designed to address all of the key areas of the Foundation Mathematics Study Design, providing schools with an invaluable resource for assessing the coursework component outlined specifically by the VCAA for Foundation Mathematics. All tasks are supplied with full solutions.

Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) for Foundation Mathematics have been prepared for both Unit 3 and 4. The following packages are available to schools:

Unit 3 Package includes 2 tasks -

Two Application Tasks (Outcomes 1, 2 and 3):

1. Mathematical Investigation 1
2. Mathematical Investigation 2

Unit 4 Package includes 2 tasks -
 

Two Application Tasks (Outcomes 1, 2 and 3):

1. Mathematical Investigation 3
2. Mathematical Investigation 4

These packages are provided to schools giving teachers a degree of flexibility in the assessment tasks they set for their students. While TSSM thoroughly checks the accuracy and relevance of these Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET), prior to assessing students, it is the individual school's responsibility to ensure that these are an appropriate form of assessment.

*Unit 3 Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) will be released on February 6, 2025 and Unit 4 will be released on May 29, 2025. Orders made in advance are welcome.
