The Foundation Mathematics trial examination papers are offered to schools copyright free for the restricted use of students of that school only. Schools are welcome to upload these trial examination papers on the school's intranet.
It is extremely important for students to complete a range of trial examination questions under examination conditions in order to prepare themselves adequately for their examinations at VCE level.
TSSM's trial examination papers for Unit 1 and 2 Foundation Mathematics are available by the end of term one, allowing schools to use them as revision for students in preparation for both mid-year and end-of-year examinations.
This year TSSM has created two trial examination papers for Unit 1 and 2 Foundation Mathematics Mathematics; a multiple choice paper and a longer question paper. This reflects the format of the official examination. These papers contain questions relating to all of the Areas of Study for both units under the official Foundation Mathematics Study Design.
Because Schools will study different modules at different stages during the year, TSSM has provided a single set of trial papers covering all of the modules in Unit 1 and 2 Foundation Mathematics. This gives schools the flexibility to adapt these papers to suit their individual curriculums, helping students to revise the specific modules that are covered during each semester in the lead up to their mid-year and end-of-year examinations.
*Trial examination papers are delivered within 5 working days of the order upon release on April 22, 2025.
