Media Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) - Units 1 and 2*

Our Media Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) are written by experienced VCE teachers, who are also VCE Exam Assessors. These tasks are available exclusively to schools and are available in electronic or hardcopy format. A variety of tasks are available for both Unit 1 and Unit 2.

Students are not permitted to order these tasks.

The Media Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) are offered to schools copyright free for the restricted use of students of that school only.

TSSM's Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) are designed to target the key areas of the Study Design for Media. These tasks are a valuable resource with which to assess the coursework components of Unit 1 and 2 Media. All tasks are supplied with full solutions.

Targeted Evaluation Tasks for Media have been prepared for both Units 1 and 2. The following packages are available to schools:

Unit 1 Package includes 7 tasks -

Outcome 1 for Area of Study 1 (Two options included):

1. Oral reports
2. Written Response

Outcome 2 for Area of Study 2 (Three options included):

1. Audiovisual or video sequences plus written evaluation
2. Print layouts plus written evaluation
3. Sequences or presentations using digital technologies plus written evaluation
    

Outcome 3 for Area of Study 3 (Two options included):

1. Written Response
2. Sequences or presentations using digital technologies

Unit 2 Package includes 6 tasks -

Outcome 1 for Area of Study 1 (Two options included):

1. Print layouts
2. Written Response

Outcome 2 for Area of Study 2 (Two options included):

1. Photographs
2. A presentation using digital technologies
    

Outcome 3 for Area of Study 3 (Two options included):

1. Written responses
2. Oral Reports

These tasks provide teachers with a degree of flexiblity when setting assessment tasks for their students. While TSSM thoroughly checks the accuracy and relevance of these Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET), prior to assessing students, it is the individual school's responsibility to ensure that these are an appropriate form of assessment.

*Unit 1 Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) will be released on February 6, 2025 and Unit 2 will be released on May 29, 2025. Orders made in advance are welcome.
