Physics Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) - Units 3 and 4*

Our Physics Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) are written by experienced VCE teachers, who are also VCE Exam Assessors. These tasks are available exclusively to schools and are available in electronic or hardcopy format. A variety of tasks are available for Unit 3 and Unit 4.

Students are not permitted to order these tasks.

The Physics Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) are offered to schools copyright free for the restricted use of students of that school only.
 

TSSM's Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) are prepared for schools to address the key assessment areas of the Physics curriculum, providing schools with a valuable resource for assessing both the Core and Options specified within the VCAA Study Design for Physics.  All tasks are supplied with full solutions.

Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) for Physics have been prepared for both Units 3 and 4.  The following packages are available to schools:

Unit 3 Package includes 6 tasks -  

Outcomes 1, 2 and 3 for Areas of Studies 1, 2 and 3 (Two options for each included):

1. Test (short answer and extended response)
2. Data Analysis 
    

Unit 4 Package includes 3 tasks - 

Outcomes 1 for Areas of Study 1 (Two options for each included):

1. Data Analysis
2. Test (short answer and extended response)
    

Outcomes 2 for Areas of Study 2 (One Task included):

1. Investigation
    

These packages are provided to schools giving teachers a degree of flexibility in the assessment tasks they set for their students. While TSSM thoroughly checks the accuracy and revelevance of these Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET), prior to assessing students, it is the idividual schools's responsibility to ensure that theseare an appropriate form of assesment.

*Unit 3 Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) will be released on February 6, 2025 and Unit 4 will be released on May 29, 2025. Orders made in advance are welcome.
