Psychology Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) - Units 1 and 2*

Our Psychology Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) are written by experienced VCE teachers, who are also VCE Exam Assessors.  These tasks are available exclusively to schools and are available in electronic or hardcopy format.  A variety of tasks are available for both Unit 1 and Unit 2.

Students are not permitted to order these tasks.

The Psychology Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) are offered to schools copyright free for the restricted use of students of that school only.
 

TSSM's Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) are designed to target key areas under the Study Design for Psychology.  These tasks provide schools with a number of options for assessing the coursework component of Unit 1 and 2 Psychology.  All tasks are supplied with full solutions.

Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) for Psychology have been prepared for both Unit 1 and 2.  The following packages are available to schools:

Unit 1 Package includes 7 tasks -  

Outcome 1 for Area of Study 1 (Three options included): 

1. media analysis
2. analysis of secondary data
3. evaluation of a case study

Outcome 2 for Area of Study 2 (Three options included): 

1. media analysis
2. analysis of secondary data
3. Brain Dissection Simulation 
    

Outcome 3 for Areas of Study 3 (One option included):

1. Report of an investigation

Unit 2 Package includes 7 tasks - 

Outcome 1 for Area of Study 1 (Three options included): 

1. data analysis of secondary data
2. analysis of a case study
3. a response to a psychological issue or ethical dilemma

Outcome 2 for Area of Study 2 (Three options included): 

1. problem solving
2. data analysis of primary data
3. media analysis
    

Outcome 3 for Areas of Study 3 (One option included):

1. Report of an investigation in a form of a scientific poster

These packages are provided to schools giving teachers a degree of flexibility in the assessment tasks they set for their students.  While TSSM thoroughly checks the accuracy and relevance of these Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET), prior to assessing students, it is the individual school's responsibility to ensure that these are an appropriate form of assessment.

*Unit 1 Targeted Evaluation Tasks (TET) will be released on February 6, 2025 and Unit 2 will be released on May 29, 2025. Orders made in advance are welcome.
