Since starting with TSSM in 2017, Karen has been a valuable member of the TSSM team. Karen's role at TSSM is driven by her passion for the teaching of VCE English and Psychology. Karen's dedication and experience has made her proficient at excelling some of the very best students in VCE by always being approachable and generous with her time.

Karen is a very passionate teacher who loves to prepare curriculum and resources for students and teachers alike, adding to TSSM's excellent resources.


Teaching Philosophy:

Learning is a lifelong and rewarding process. Studying English has always been a passion of Karen's for the way it helps people to better understand themselves and the world around them.

Karen's goals in teaching are to help students develop independent thinking and writing skills, not just to memorise content.


Interests:

Books, films and theatre are a given.
Running, being outdoors and baking tasty treats.
